Physical Therapist

Ann-Michelle earned her bachelors in Integrative Biology in 1997 at UC Berkeley & her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2004. She has completed a combination of pediatric & orthopedic courses with a strong emphasis on early intervention, manual therapy, spine, gait, lower extremity, & treatment of the overhead athlete. Ann-Michelle loves helping individuals of all ages & abilities return to the activities & sports that they love. She has gone on to be certified in Active Release Technique ®(ART®) - Full Body & Long tract nerve entrapment, Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Spidertech, Kinesio Tape, as well as attending a year-long Maitland Australian Manual Therapy class, The San Francisco Giants Sports Medicine Conferences, & Myofasical Decompression (Level 1 & 2) to name a few. With a touch of sarcasm & a lot of energy, Ann-Michelle’s treatment style is far from Zen, but her patient’s rehab needs are always the center of each & every session.

Outside of the Physical Therapy setting, Ann-Michelle is mom to a beautiful son, a loyal CAL Bear fan, a competitive Master’s Swimmer racing in both pool and open water settings, & she has completed 6 half marathons.


Physical Therapy Assistant

Jeremy is a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant who is dedicated to providing top quality care and ensuring that patients receive an optimal rehabilitation experience. Jeremy recently graduated at the top of his class from Carrington College’s Physical Therapy Assistant program and received several academic honors during his time as a student. Prior to attending Physical Therapy Assistant school Jeremy spent several years as a Physical Therapy aide in an outpatient orthopedic clinic where he gained valuable experience in the field and learned how to interact with patients of all ages, cultures, and genders. Jeremy truly enjoys taking a hands on approach to treatment and educating patients on their injuries and recovery process. One of Jeremy’s goals is to build a strong trusting relationship with each patient and ensure that patients receives an individualized physical therapy experience. Jeremy takes pride in maintaining an honest and open line of communication with each patient and believes that patients should play an active role in their physical therapy. He is pleased to offer a variety of manual interventions and treatments to maximize patient’s recovery potential and help them return to their pre-injury lives.

Physical Therapist

Kellie Banfield graduated from University of California, Davis with a BS in Exercise Biology and minor in Psychology in 2009. While at UCD, she played club water polo, competed for the triathlon club, skiied as often as possible, and studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She earned her doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine's San Diego Campus. She then went on to receive the Manual Therapy Certification from University of St. Augustine and board certified specialty of Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. She has completed extensive training in manual therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, kinesiology taping, gait training, and functional exercise. Kellie's favorite part of being a physical therapist is interacting with the patients and helping them meet their personal goals through individualized treatment. She continues to run marathons and compete in triathlons and enjoys treating this endurance athlete population.


When not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, half fox/half dog, and crazy toddler!
